Connected wallets

Connected wallets checker for Solana tokens

Many wallets, one owner. xAxios shows whether a token’s holders look like independent buyers or one group in disguise, so you know how spread out the supply really is.

What connected wallets are

Connected wallets are holders of a token that trace back to the same person or group. If one source fills ten new wallets and all ten buy the same coin, you are looking at one buyer, not ten, even though the holder list shows ten names. A connected wallets checker on Solana finds those links so you can tell how many independent holders there really are.

On xAxios this is one of the eight holder metrics, with its own value on the token page. A higher value means more of the holder base belongs to linked groups. In plain terms, it shows how much of the supply is the same money wearing different wallets.

What the connected wallets check tells you

Connected Wallets answers one question: how independent are these holders, really? Here is what the reading means in practice.

Real holder count

A token with a big holder number and a high Connected Wallets value has fewer real owners than it looks. That changes how you read every other stat on the page.

Hidden concentration

Linked wallets each holding a small bag can add up to one large position. When that position sells, the wallets tend to move together, and the chart feels it all at once.

Group in disguise

Splitting one buy across many wallets is the classic way to make a launch look popular. This metric is built to show when a holder list looks like that kind of setup.

Read with Coordinated Buying

Connected Wallets shows whether holders link back to one source. Coordinated Buying shows whether they look like they arrived together. When both run high, you are most likely looking at one group.

How to find linked wallets on a token

  1. 01

    Paste the token address

Use the check on the website, or open the token on a supported trading page with the extension running.

  2. 02

Look at the Connected Wallets value

It sits with the other holder metrics under the score. The higher it reads, the more of the holder base belongs to linked groups.

  3. 03

    Check what sits beside it

Compare it with New Wallets, Single-Purpose Wallets and Bot Activity. Linked wallets that are also fresh and hold nothing but this token usually belong to the same operator.

Where the connected wallets check shows up

Connected Wallets sits next to the other seven holder metrics under the 0 to 100 score, and you can read its value on its own on the token page. The same check is available in the free Chrome extension and the developer API, so it follows you wherever you look up tokens. On the website the scan history keeps recent risk snapshots, handy for seeing whether linked groups thinned out as new buyers arrived.

Limits of the connected wallets check

A link between wallets shows a shared source of money, not proof of shared ownership. Friends funded by one person, or a team paying a few contributors, can look linked, and a careful operator can hide their tracks well. Treat a high value as a strong reason to look closer, and a low value as one good sign among several.

Frequently asked questions

Paste the token address into xAxios and look at the Connected Wallets metric. It shows how much of the holder base links back to the same source. The higher the value, the more holders sit inside linked groups rather than buying on their own.

A wallet cluster is a group of wallets controlled by, or funded from, the same source. On a token holder list it often means one person split their buy across many wallets to look like a crowd.

Because they make supply look more spread out than it is. Ten linked wallets with a small bag each are really one holder with a big bag, and when that holder sells, the ten wallets tend to move together.

It answers the same question in a different way. Instead of a picture you have to read yourself, you get one clear value that tells you how linked the holders are, sitting right next to the other holder metrics and the score.

Yes. Friends funded by one person, or a team paying contributors, will show up as linked. That’s why the metric is one of eight and reads best next to New Wallets and Coordinated Buying.
